In association with Texas Recycles Day, the City of Grapevine and Keep Grapevine Beautiful will host an event to collect Recyclables at the Municipal Service Center, 501 Shady Brook Drive.
NOTE: The City is going paperless for this event. Please fill out your Survey HERE prior to attending. Survey Link will be available October 20, 2025.
NOTE: Attendees may experience significant wait times during this event due to the number of residents expected to attend.
Acceptable items:
Paper Shredding (limit of 5 "office" boxes or 200 lbs.)
Styrofoam (clean, white packing foam and packing peanuts. No food/drink foam.)
Cell phones and PDAs
Eye Glasses & Hearing Aids
Appliances
Fire Extinguishers
Electronics
Batteries
Metal
Ink Jet/ Toner cartridges
Tires
Donation Items (Clothes, Shoes & Reuse Items)

Cost
One Canned or Dry Food item is requested; however, this event is provided free of charge to Grapevine residents
Donations
FOOD: Canned and dry foods will be collected for families in need at this event. Goods will be distributed by GRACE.
TOYS: The City of Grapevine Police Department will accept (new only) unwrapped toys at the event. New toy donations are administered through the Santa Cop program.
