Grapevine Police Officer Willie Lain will perform the National Anthem at Globe Life Field on August 20, 2023.
The Texas Rangers will be playing against the Brewers during First Responders Appreciation Night at the ballpark. First Responders Night raises money for the Peace Officers' Angels Foundation (POAF) and Texas Line of Duty Death (Texas LODD). $6 from each ticket will benefit the two charities.
Officer Lain has an extensive history of performing the National Anthem at police events, sports games and races at Texas Motor Speedway. Ofc. Lain is an award-winning traffic officer. He has been with the Grapevine Police Department since 2006.
