Having spent three years examining the high-level development of the City, the podcast is shifting to more intimate "vine-yettes" in 2026.

The holiday season, between Thanksgiving and the New Year, is a crucial time for small business owners. Meet the owners of three such entrepreneurs in this special feature on the Holiday Season in Grapevine.

One of the most frequent calls for Emergency Medical Services we receive is because someone has fallen. In the month of January, nearly 11% of our total calls for service are due to someone falling. Here are some things you can do to ensure you do not become one of our calls for service. 

In the event of a fire, a closed-door can isolate the fire’s flow, reduce room temperatures, and keep carbon monoxide levels down.  Closing your bedroom door can make a 900-degree difference! A room where a fire starts can reach 1000-degrees or more, but being in a room with a closed-door can reduce 900-degrees.  You can survive a 100-degree room!  

The City of Grapevine is now accepting applications for the 6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) program. The CPR program coordinates corporate and community volunteers to provide exterior home repairs for qualified homeowners. To qualify, the applicant must be age 62 (or older) or handicapped, disabled, a veteran, or a spouse of a veteran, or a single head of household with children under the age of 18 who are currently living at home.  The applicant must also meet certain income restrictions and have lived in their home for two years.  View the application packet.
