Study and Meeting Room Policies

  • Grapevine Public Library offers six study rooms, a study pod, and three meeting rooms for patron use. Patrons must keep to posted capacity of each room. The rooms are available through an online reservation system on a first come, first serve basis to valid Grapevine Public Library card holders in good standing. Grapevine residents may request a free library card at the check-out desk after confirming residency, and nonresidents may purchase nonresident cards for one year for $50.
  • Rooms may be reserved for up to three hours a day per card holder. Individuals requesting a room must be at least 12 years of age and possess a valid library card. The person initiating the request or an authorized user on their account must be present during the period of usage.
  • The following uses are expressly prohibited of the study and meeting rooms: buying, selling, advertising, or trading products or services for cash or other.
  • Room reservations will be canceled 30 minutes after the beginning time for the booking has passed to make the room(s) available to others.
  • Only beverages with a lid are permitted in the rooms; food is not permitted.
  • Violations of room policies may lead to a loss of reservation privileges.
  • After using the rooms, patrons are required to clean up after themselves and restore the room to the state prior to usage, lock the door, and return the key to the Reference Desk.
  • Rooms may not be used to store personal belongings. If you need to use the public computers or leave the room for an extended period of time, remove your possessions, and return your key to the Reference Desk. The library is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any equipment or materials owned or rented by an individual or group using the rooms.
