A Message from ONCOR regarding Incoming Winter Weather
Oncor prepares to respond ahead of winter weather. Below-freezing temperatures, ice accumulation expected: Winter precipitation is expected within Oncor’s service area from the afternoon of Friday, January 23, through the evening of Sunday, January 25.

Impacts to electric service due to winter weather can be difficult to predict, as even slight temperature variations can alter the amount and type of precipitation our service area experiences. At this time, weather forecasts expect an extended period of below-freezing temperatures for Oncor’s entire service area. Additionally, there is high confidence in widespread winter precipitation, including snow, freezing rain, and ice. Oncor has shared the following information: English: bit.ly/4a6kcdG | Spanish: bit.ly/4t6IBrk

Trash & Recycling Collection
At this time, incoming weather forecasts indicate the bulk of the impending winter weather will occur over the weekend. Republic Services has not declared any delays will occur for Friday or Monday collections. In the event that their trucks are unable to safely conduct their normal collection routes, our City Facebook at bit.ly/4bI30fN will indicate any potential delays.
