City Offices and Facilities Closures and Trash Collection
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all City offices, the Grapevine Public Library, and all facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28. The REC, 1175 Municipal Way, will resume standard operating hours on Friday, November 28. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, trash and recycling collection will shift to the following day. Thursday's trash and recycling collection will shift to Friday, November 28, and Friday's trash and recycling collection will shift to Saturday, November 29. All essential services will operate normally.
Santa Cops 2025
The Grapevine Community Outreach Center is now accepting applications for the Santa Cops 2025 program. If you or someone you know has children ages three to 17 years of age who are in need of Christmas gifts, please visit the Grapevine Community Outreach Center at 3010 Mustang Drive, to submit an application. Santa Cops applications will remain open until Friday, December 5. To volunteer to wrap gifts, please register at GrapevineTexas.gov. Gift wrapping will take place on Tuesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 11, from 5 to 8 pm at First Baptist Church (Old Chapel), t 301 East Texas Street.

46th Annual Parade of Lights - Thursday, December 4 - FREE
Join us on Thursday, December 4 at 7 pm for the 46th annual Parade of Lights featuring more than 100 lighted floats and marching bands on Historic Main Street with the theme: Storybook Parade! Ice Skating at Peace Plaza Ice Rink - Through Tuesday, January 6
‘Tis the season to be in the Christmas Capital of Texas®. Experience the Peace Plaza Ice Rink, presented by Baylor Scott & White - Grapevine, and glide across the ice on this Texas sized 4,500-square-foot outdoor ice-skating rink on Historic Main Street. All skate sessions are one-hour with 15-minute breaks (between sessions) for exiting and entering skaters.
