Nash Farm Barn Dance - Friday, October 10
Boot scoot and boogie at Nash Farm’s Barn Dance on Friday, October 10. The evening will begin with a fried chicken boxed supper, followed by an old-fashioned 1950s-era Barn Dance. The live band will lead the called dances from atop the farm truck by the big red barn. Events include horseshoes and other heritage games. Therapeutic Creative Expression for Adults with Special Needs – through December 18 
Join Grapevine Parks and Recreation for engaging and inclusive art classes designed for adults with special needs. Each session offers a supportive space to explore art, build confidence, and connect with others. We are offering something new each week for participants to try in a warm, social setting through this adaptive art program. All materials will be provided. AJ’s On Main Chili Cook Off – Spice, Sound & Support for the Grapevine Shield Foundation – Saturday, October 25
Come hungry and enjoy a sizzling day of chili, live music, and community spirit - all to benefit the Grapevine Shield Foundation. This foundation provides financial assistance to Grapevine Police and Firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty, as well as scholarships for their children. All proceeds and donations from tasting kits will directly benefit the Grapevine Shield Foundation, helping protect those who protect us. The Grapevine Botanical Gardens Explorer App is more informative, and full of surprises. Whether you are a plant enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful stroll, this app has you covered. Tap any plant to discover its story and find hidden gems like Julie’s Garden. The app also helps you locate restrooms, benches, and exits.   

Planes & Trains Guided Tour – Saturday Mornings 
Grapevine’s Planes & Trains guided tour treats visitors to a tour of Grapevine Main Station and Observation Tower, a one-hour excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and a stop at Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation area. Beginning at the Grapevine Visitor Information Center, participants will be guided through Grapevine Main Station to the top of the Observation Tower to watch airplanes take off and land while learning about the history of DFW International Airport. This is followed by a guided stroll through the 1888 Cotton Belt Train Depot and a one-hour excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. From there, participants will take a chartered ride on the Grapevine Visitors Shuttle through Historic Main Street to Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation Area.
