Temporary Lane Closure - Beginning Wednesday, September 17 
Due to necessary work at the Brownstones on Dallas Road, the right lane will be temporarily closed for approximately 500 feet eastbound, starting from the frontage of the garage at 925 Main Street. This closure will be in effect from Wednesday, September 17, through Tuesday, September 23, from 9am to 3pm each business day. Please use caution when traveling through the area and follow posted signs and traffic control.

Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant – Apply Through October 7  
The Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant provides funding for litter prevention, waste reduction, and/or beautification projects. Your school, business, or organization may receive up to $5,000 to assist with your project. Examples of previous projects include the purchase of water bottle filling stations, trash carts, and landscape improvements. Applications will be accepted through October 3 for the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant program, sponsored by Sam Pack’s Five Star Subaru-Grapevine. Planes & Trains Guided Tour – Saturday Mornings 
Grapevine’s Planes & Trains guided tour treats visitors to a tour of Grapevine Main Station and Observation Tower, a one-hour excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and a stop at Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation area. Beginning at the Grapevine Visitor Information Center, participants will be guided through Grapevine Main Station to the top of the Observation Tower to watch airplanes take off and land while learning about the history of DFW International Airport. This is followed by a guided stroll through the 1888 Cotton Belt Train Depot and a one-hour excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. From there, participants will take a chartered ride on the Grapevine Visitors Shuttle through Historic Main Street to Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation Area. Enjoy a live music journey down memory lane with classics featuring your favorite genres each night. Bring the family or a date, and your picnic blanket or chairs for an evening under the stars. Browse the vibrant artisan market while children are invited to enjoy the (complimentary) Kidz Zone filled with fun activities for their age groups. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase (ages 21 and older). The Bessie Mitchell House (located within the Botanical Gardens) will offer light fare (appetizers), two beverage tickets per ticket holder, and early access to the gardens for VIP ticket holders. Park Ambassador Volunteer Program
Our parks are enjoyed by thousands of guests all year long. Park Ambassadors play a crucial role in enhancing the visitor experience, boosting environmental education, and promoting the “Litter Ends with Us” campaign. We are looking for volunteers to share their appreciation for the natural environment with our visitors at Oak Grove Park.
