911 Remembrance Ceremony
The City of Grapevine will host its annual 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11 beginning at 7:40 am at 1000 Texan Trail. This remembrance ceremony will be live streamed on the City of Grapevine’s Facebook platform at on.fb.me/1v7MV9f beginning at 7:30 am. Parking may be limited. For those unable to attend, we invite you to join us virtually as we reflect and remember those who perished on this date 24 years ago.

Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant – September 2 – October 7
The Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant provides funding for litter prevention, waste reduction, and/or beautification projects. Your school, business, or organization may receive up to $5,000 to assist with your project. Examples of previous projects include the purchase of water bottle filling stations, trash carts, and landscape improvements. Applications will be accepted through October 3 for the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant program, sponsored by Sam Pack’s Five Star Subaru-Grapevine. Calling all dino enthusiasts! Join us as Grapevine transforms into a prehistoric paradise this Summer. "All Tracks Lead to Grapevine", features interactive and educational exhibits at the Tower Gallery, Grapevine Vintage Railroad's "Dinos on the Tracks" and soaring through time at the Observation Tower and at the Grapevine Public Library. The Historic Palace Theatre is getting in on the fun with dinosaur-themed movies on Thursdays throughout the summer. Join the Grapevine Parks and Recreation crew for Sunset Live! at the Botanical Gardens, 411 Ball Street on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 5. Enjoy a live music journey down memory lane with classics featuring your favorite genres each night. Bring the family or a date, and your picnic blanket or chairs for an evening under the stars. Browse the vibrant artisan market while the kids enjoy the (complimentary) Kidz Zone filled with fun activities for their age groups. The VIP experience offers the Bessie Mitchell House as your private event space, with light fare (appetizers), two beverage tickets, and early access to the gardens. Doors open at 5:30 pm daily for those with VIP tickets and 6 pm for general admission attendees.
