Overnight Roadway Closures – Pavement Repairs
Beginning Sunday, July 27, a third-party contractor will perform overnight pavement repairs on Northwest Highway between Park Boulevard and Dooley Street. Work will take place nightly from 7 pm to 5 am over a 10-day period and will require intermittent lane or section closures. The roadway will fully reopen by 5 am each morning and remain accessible during daylight hours. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and follow all posted signage. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve roadway conditions.

Birth Certificates Available at City Hall 
If your child was born in Texas, and you need their birth certificate to enroll in school, to register for sports, to obtain a passport, to name just a few reasons, certificates can be purchased in the City Secretary’s Office located in City Hall at 200 South Main Street. Long form certificates for children born in Grapevine or abstract certificates for children born anywhere in the State are $23. Parents will need to show proper identification. The Texas Tenors Deep in the Heart of Christmas – Friday, July 25 – Sunday, July 27   
The Palace Arts Center is proud to welcome back Emmy Award Winners and Billboard’s number one recording artists, The Texas Tenors. Happy to Help Saturday Waterway Cleanup – Saturday, July 26 
All ages are welcome to join Keep Grapevine Beautiful for a Grapevine Lake cleanup event. This month’s Happy to Help Saturday will take place in and around Grapevine Lake, focusing on the shoreline and waterways. We encourage boaters to bring their watercraft to help gather litter that has collected in coves and on the water. A limited number of volunteers, with previous kayaking experience, may register to use a kayak at no charge to assist with waterway cleanup. Volunteers will also assist with shoreline cleanup throughout lake parks in Grapevine and Flower Mound. Locations on Grapevine Lake will depend on water levels. Flower Mound locations will be North Park Trailhead, Murrell Park, and Twin Coves. All supplies will be provided. We always welcome trash bag donations. Join the Grapevine Animal Services team for their PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) reading program. Children ages 10 years and under will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time about the connection between animals and people. PAWS By Reading will be the first and third Tuesday of each month. PAWS By Reading Bilingual will take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Due to limited space, registration is required. To allow for more children to attend, we kindly ask that only one chaperone per family attend. This simple step to protect your pet is a safe way to assist in getting your pet home if they ever become lost, especially important for cats who may lose a collar. Calling all dino enthusiasts! Join us as Grapevine transforms into a prehistoric paradise this Summer. "All Tracks Lead to Grapevine", features interactive and educational exhibits at the Tower Gallery, Grapevine Vintage Railroad's "Dinos on the Tracks" and soaring through time at the Observation Tower and at the Grapevine Public Library. The Historic Palace Theatre is getting in on the fun with dinosaur-themed movies on Thursdays throughout the summer. Park Ambassador Volunteer Program  
Our parks are enjoyed by thousands of guests all year long.
