IN THE NEWS

Upcoming Fairway Drive Road Closure - Beginning Monday, July 7
We are undertaking enhancements to Fairway Drive in partnership with TxDOT—this means fully removing the existing roadway between Highway 26 and the Grapevine Lake dam and installing a new road and trail. To complete this project, a portion of Fairway Drive will close to through traffic for approximately six months, beginning Monday, July 7. A detour map is shown below and may also be viewed at
bit.ly/4nj8jG5.

Key changes will include:
• New Roundabout Installation:
The current intersection at Cowboys Golf Club and Silver Lake Marina will be replaced with a roundabout to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion.
• Enhanced Access to Marina and Golf Course:
These improvements will significantly enhance motorist safety for those entering or exiting the Silver Lake Marina and Cowboys Golf Club, reducing conflict points and easing navigation.
• All-New 10-Foot-Wide Hard Surface Trail:
Stretching about 0.45 miles, the new 10’ wide trail will connect the existing Links Trail (off Highway 26) all the way to Marina Drive. Perfect for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
