Upcoming Ramp Closure – Thursday, June 19
TxDOT will be temporarily closing the EXIT RAMP outbound from DFW International Airport on Thursday, June 19. In efforts for TxDOT to conduct illumination repairs, they will conduct an EXIT RAMP CLOSURE from southbound Spur 97 to eastbound SH 114 from 9am to 3pm. Striping Work - This Week
Striping work will be conducted through Wednesday, June 18 (weather permitting) on Dallas Road, Dooley Street, and Ball Street. Please slow down in these areas while crews are at work.

DFW Writers Workshop: 2025 Writer's BLOC – Sunday, June 22
DFW Writers' Workshop is excited to announce the 2025 Writers Bloc guest speaker, Gina Augustini Best! Gina is a Dallas-area writer and an award-winning former journalist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a master’s degree in communication and media from Texas Tech University. She also completed The Writer’s Path, a novel-writing program at Southern Methodist University, in 2017. She lives in the Dallas area with her husband, daughter, two attention-seeking dogs, and one hands-off cat. She has recently published her first book, More Than Ivory, a gripping young adult suspense mystery. She will be discussing how novel writing is like an endurance race.

Children ages 10 years and under will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time about the connection between animals and people. PAWS By Reading will be the first and third Tuesday of each month. PAWS By Reading Bilingual will take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
