Upcoming Ramp Closure – Thursday, June 19 
TxDOT will be temporarily closing the EXIT RAMP outbound from DFW International Airport on Thursday, June 19. In efforts for TxDOT to conduct illumination repairs, they will conduct an EXIT RAMP CLOSURE from southbound Spur 97 to eastbound SH 114 from 9am to 3pm. Striping Work - This Week 
Striping work will be conducted through Wednesday, June 18 (weather permitting) on Dallas Road, Dooley Street, and Ball Street. Please slow down in these areas while crews are at work.

Dino Cartoons & Crafts – Thursday, June 19
Children (accompanied by an adult) are invited to make a fun, dinosaur-themed, craft while watching The Land Before Time II: The Great Valley Adventure. The children’s ticket will include a craft activity, dino cartoons, a dino mask, a small popcorn, and a drink with a souvenir cup. DFW Writers Workshop: 2025 Writer's BLOC – Sunday, June 22 
DFW Writers' Workshop is excited to announce the 2025 Writers Bloc guest speaker, Gina Augustini Best! Gina is a Dallas-area writer and an award-winning former journalist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a master’s degree in communication and media from Texas Tech University. She also completed The Writer’s Path, a novel-writing program at Southern Methodist University, in 2017. She lives in the Dallas area with her husband, daughter, two attention-seeking dogs, and one hands-off cat. She has recently published her first book, More Than Ivory, a gripping young adult suspense mystery. She will be discussing how novel writing is like an endurance race.

World's Largest Swim Lesson – Thursday, June 26 - FREE 
The World’s Largest Swim Lesson is a FREE event designed to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children how to swim. Children will have fun learning water safety skills with the certified swim instructors from the Grapevine Parks and Recreation aquatics team!  Help us raise awareness about the life-saving importance of swim lessons for children - an essential step in preventing drownings and improving lives.

Calling all dino enthusiasts! Join us as Grapevine transforms into a prehistoric paradise this Summer. "All Tracks Lead to Grapevine", features interactive and educational exhibits at the Tower Gallery, Grapevine Vintage Railroad's "Dinos on the Tracks" and soaring through time at the Observation Tower and at the Grapevine Public Library. The Historic Palace Theatre is getting in on the fun with dinosaur-themed movies on Thursdays throughout the summer. PAWS By Reading and PAWS By Reading Bilingual Summer Series – Tuesday Mornings Through August
Join the Grapevine Animal Services team for their PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) reading program. Children ages 10 years and under will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time about the connection between animals and people. PAWS By Reading will be the first and third Tuesday of each month. PAWS By Reading Bilingual will take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Due to limited space, registration is required. To allow for more children to attend, we kindly ask that only one chaperone per family attend.
