New Mayor Pro Tem - Paul Slechta
During the Tuesday, May 20 City Council meeting, our Grapevine City Council unanimously elected Councilman Paul Slechta, Place 1, to serve as the new Mayor Pro Tem. New Businesses Opening in Grapevine 
Shop, Wine Dine & Explore Grapevine! The Gaylord Texan added 3,370 square feet to its steakhouse. With over 16,000 square feet now that renovations are complete, Old Hickory is one of the City's largest restaurants. Dove Creek Day Camp! – Registration Now Open
Get ready for an UNFORGETTABLE summer ADVENTURE. Children ages five to twelve are invited to take part in exciting water sports, archery, gaga ball, all while making friends, exploring the outdoors, and creating lasting memories. New This Summer: Adaptive Art & Dance Classes 
Get ready to unleash your creativity! Adaptive Art Classes are starting this summer, offering a welcoming space for adults with special needs to explore drawing, sculpture, acrylic painting, and watercolor. Hosted by Studio Art House, these classes encourage self-expression in a supportive environment. Registration is open to Grapevine residents and Club All-Access members through May 31. Also, introducing Adaptive Fusion Dance. This brand-new class blends dance styles, techniques, and music, while embracing inclusivity for all abilities. KC&E Mountain Bike Camp – Monday, June 2 – Wednesday, June 4 & Monday, June 16 – Wednesday, June 18 
Parks and Recreation is partnering with KC&E to bring you Mountain Bike Camp. This three-day camp, at Horseshoe Trail, invites young riders to explore the natural beauty of the scenic shores of Grapevine Lake. This 4.4-mile ride will include plenty of breaks, and time in the shade to enjoy the surroundings. Campers are required to bring their own mountain bike and helmet and must be able to ride a two-wheeled bike. For additional information and to register, please visit kceadventures.com.

National Trails Day – Saturday, June 7 
Ready for an adventure through time? On June 7, step into the prehistoric past, along the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail or Wall-Farrar Trail. Attendees will be encouraged to scan QR codes along the way to uncover dinosaur facts, learn about a real track found in Grapevine, and discover fascinating fossils like trilobites and ammonites.
