Veterans Day Parade and Fair – This Saturday, November 9 - FREE
Salute military veterans at the annual Veterans Day Parade in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Veterans and citizens are invited to experience this meaningful day, celebrating our country’s military servicemen and women. Please visit GrapevineTexasUSA.com for additional information.

Location: Begins at West Hudgins Street and will travel north along Main Street – ending at East Wall Street  

Attendees are invited to the Town Square Gazebo, 115 East Worth Street once the parade concludes to enjoy the Veteran’s Day Fair with live music, food, snacks, and local vendors. It will be a day full of gratitude, community, and fun!   

Carol of Lights – Monday, November 25 - FREE 
Rediscover the enchantment of Christmas at the 36th Annual Carol of Lights, presented by Texas Health, as we officially launch the Christmas Capital of Texas®. Explore Historic Main Street at your own pace as it transforms into a winter wonderland. With multiple stages featuring community performances, interactive activity zones, and festive food trucks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the night. This is a come-and-go event, so there’s no need to rush. Feel free to stroll, take in the sights, and enjoy all the festivities. A street lighting will take place at 5:30 pm when Main Street is illuminated from Northwest Highway to Dallas Road. Enjoy the view from anywhere along Main Street! ECO Talk: Green Skies Ahead: Sustainable Practices at DFW Airport- Tonight, November 6 - FREE
Join us to learn about DFW Airport’s PourAway containers that diverted over 6,600 tons of waste last year alone. Their Environmental Affairs team will share environmental improvements at the airport and how they became the first carbon neutral airport in the U.S. Open to all ages. Planes & Trains Guided Tour - Saturday, November 9  
Grapevine’s Planes & Trains guided tour treats visitors to a tour of Grapevine Main Station and Observation Tower, a one-hour excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and a stop at Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation area. Beginning at the Grapevine Visitor Information Center, participants will be guided through Grapevine Main Station to the top of the Observation Tower to watch airplanes take off and land while learning about the history of DFW International Airport. This is followed by a guided stroll through the 1888 Cotton Belt Train Depot and a one-hour excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. From there, participants will take a chartered ride on the Grapevine Visitors Shuttle through Historic Main Street to Founders’ Plaza Airport Observation Area. Tickets are available at GrapevineTicketLine.com.

Thanksgiving Cartoons & Crafts – Tuesday, November 12 
Bring the little ones to watch classic cartoons while making a fun craft at the Lancaster Theatre. The children’s ticket will include a craft activity, classic cartoons, a small popcorn, and a drink (bottled water or juice box). The adult’s ticket includes classic cartoons and a drink (bottled water or juice box). A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Garfield’s Thanksgiving will be the featured cartoons. Winter Camp at The REC – Registration opens Friday, November 1
Children will have fun being engaged and active during Winter Camp at the REC!  This unique camp will offer fun experiences including winter crafts, games, challenges, and science experiments. Registration begins November 1 for Grapevine residents and December 2 for non-residents. Space is limited.

Grapevine Botanical Garden Docent Tours - FREE 
Explore Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park with a docent-led journey through the beauty of nature. Tours are conducted by Grapevine Garden Club volunteers and are designed for a minimum of eight adult participants in each group. Choose from two different tours (listed below).
