Lake Park & Boat Ramp Closures Remain in Place
Grapevine Lake levels remain very high and lake park and boat ramp closures remain in place until further notice. Grapevine Animal Services Pet Owner Resources – Saturday, July 13 - FREE 
Grapevine residents will receive free rabies vaccines for their dogs and/or cats and microchips are only $5. In addition, there will be a community pet pantry with essentials such as food and supplies to help keep animals healthy and happy with their families. Proof of Grapevine residency (photo ID, utility bill) is required. No appointment necessary.

Dinosaur George's Museum – Tuesday, July 23 - FREE
Please join us for this one-day-only special event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The library program room will be transformed into a prehistoric museum by one of the largest traveling prehistoric exhibits in North America. The traveling museum showcases a diverse range of prehistoric creatures with a primary focus on dinosaurs. From massive dinosaur skulls to intricate fossil replicas, view exhibit pieces from around the world and from every time period. In addition to dinosaurs, other fascinating prehistoric animals such as fish and mammals provide a comprehensive view of Earth's history.

Happy to Help Saturday Waterway Cleanup – Saturday, July 27
Join Keep Grapevine Beautiful, Clear Lakes Texas, and Keep Flower Mound Beautiful for a Grapevine Lake cleanup event. This month’s Happy to Help Saturday will take place in and around Grapevine Lake, focusing on the shoreline and waterways. We encourage boaters to bring their watercraft to help gather litter that has collected in coves and on the water. A limited number of volunteers, with previous kayaking experience, may register to use a kayak at no charge to assist with waterway cleanup. Other volunteers will assist with shoreline cleanup throughout lake parks in Grapevine and Flower Mound. Locations on Grapevine Lake will depend on water levels. Flower Mound locations will be North Park Trailhead, Murrell Park, and Twin Coves. All supplies will be provided. We always welcome trash bag donations. All Tracks Lead to Grapevine: A Dinosaur Experience – through July 31 
Calling all dino enthusiasts! Grapevine transforms into a prehistoric paradise this Summer with "All Tracks Lead to Grapevine", featuring dinosaur digs, towering T-Rex replicas, and educational exhibits at the Tower Gallery. Step back in time on Grapevine Vintage Railroad's "Dinos on the Tracks", narrated by a paleontologist or soar through time with educational programs at the Observation Tower and at the Grapevine Public Library. The Historic Palace Theatre is getting in on the fun with dinosaur-themed movies on Thursdays throughout the summer. It is a great place to bring the whole family, learn about Texas products, and shop locally.
