July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza 2024 – ALTERNATE LOCATION
The Show Will Go On! Due to extremely high water levels at Grapevine Lake, we have relocated the launch site for the City’s annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza to the Great Wolf Lodge, 100 Great Wolf Drive. Grapevine Lake and our lake parks have ZERO fireworks visibility and no access.
The fireworks display will begin at 9:30pm on Thursday, July 4 with viewing locations and parking areas shown at bit.ly/3xD8p6i. The legend also notes parking lots that may require a fee.
Visit bit.ly/3XKgTU6 for full details regarding viewing areas, and visibility levels. and our live-streaming details for those who wish to watch from home.
Lake Park & Boat Ramp Closures Remain in Place
Grapevine Lake levels remain very high and lake park and boat ramp closures remain in place until further notice. Shoreline structure hazards may go unseen and create dangerous boating/swimming conditions. View a shoreline structure hazard map at bit.ly/2HxxeUr. For additional information regarding these closures, please visit GoGrapevine.com/Updates.
Oak Grove Loop - Partial CLOSURE
A partial roadway closure is in place from Oak Grove Loop South from Dove Road to Darren G. Medlin Trail. Additionally, Oak Grove Loop from the east side of Oak Grove Loop South to Minnow Loop of Oak Grove Loop North is closed. This closure will be in place until further notice due to water on the roadway. Those needing access to businesses in this area may do so by entering from Oak Grove Loop North. View a map of the closer at bit.ly/3Rgsbv8.
