ECO Talks: Bats 101- Everything You Need to Know! - Tonight, March 6 - FREE
We are raising awareness for our local bat species. This free lecture covers their unique ecology, the benefits they provide to us, and current threats to them and their status. We will delve into how research across the world (and locally), is exploring ways to alleviate the impacts to bat populations and how to help conserve these amazing little creatures. Keep Grapevine Beautiful Student Video Contest – Friday, March 8
Grapevine middle and high school student videographers are invited to create a 30-second video regarding proper recycling using the RecycleCoach app. Prize money is awaiting the top middle school and high school winners. Grapevine Botanical Gardens Docent Tours - FREE
Explore Grapevine Botanical Gardens with a docent-led journey through the beauty of nature. Tours are conducted by Garden Club volunteers and are designed for a minimum of eight adult participants in the group. Choose from two different tours. Spring Break Cotton Belt Railroad Adventure – Tuesday, March 12 – Thursday, March 14 
Roll into the world of railroading and immerse yourselves in railroad history while visiting activity stations featuring jobs and responsibilities on the railroad. At each station, participants will receive a craft button and once all five are collected, riders will be awarded a Junior Train Master button to complete the collection. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the conductor onboard the train. Tickets are available at GVRR.com and include a trip on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, rail adventure activities, activity completion buttons, and a handbook which is an in-depth guide to the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and it’s locomotives.
