44th Annual Parade of Lights – Thursday, December 7 (Tomorrow Night)- FREE
Join us in the Christmas Capital of Texas® on Thursday, December 7 for the annual Parade of Lights, the largest lighted Christmas parade in all of North Texas.  The parade will begin at 7 pm and is free to attend. Arrive early to select a spot along Grapevine's Historic Downtown Main Street. View our interactive parking map for Downtown Grapevine at ParkGV.com.  In an effort to best accommodate the Parade of Lights event, participants, and guests, the Grapevine Public Library and The REC will close at 5 pm on Thursday, December 7.    

Merry & Bright Christmas Drone Show, presented by Harvest Hall & Hotel Vin - December 9 & 16 - FREE
Join us for Grapevine’s third annual Merry & Bright Christmas Drone Show, presented by Harvest Hall and Hotel Vin. This spectacular show will take the Christmas Capital of Texas® to new heights as a fleet of 200 drones create Christmas magic in the sky over Main Street. The entire family will enjoy a breathtaking Christmas spectacle to remember all season long. Early arrival is encouraged. Santa Cops 2023  
The Grapevine Community Outreach Center is now accepting applications for the Santa Cops 2023 program. If you or someone you know has children ages three to 17 years of age who are in need of Christmas gifts, please visit the Grapevine Community Outreach Center, 3010 Mustang Drive, to submit an application. Santa Cops applications will remain open until Friday, December 8.  

If you are interested in volunteering to wrap gifts, please register at GrapevineTexas.gov. Gift wrapping will take place on Tuesday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 12, from 5 to 8 pm.  If needed, a third wrapping night will take place on Thursday, December 14, from 5 to 8 pm. 

Farmstead Christmas Celebration at Nash Farm - Saturday, December 9
Join the farmhands for a family celebration of the season including traditional music, making ornaments, refreshments, and more. Please purchase tickets at GrapevineTexasUSA.com.

Grinch’s Giving Paws – Saturday, December 16 —FREE
Bring your family and friends for a festive day of giving and joy. Enjoy sweet treats and hot cocoa, and snap a photo with the Grinch! Meet adorable animals ready for a Christmas bow. We are also accepting donations of pet food or cat litter to our community holiday pet pantry. For every five pounds of pet food or litter you donate, you will be entered into a drawing to win a Weinberger’s Deli gift card!

Santa at The REC – December 12 & 14 - FREE     
Santa Claus is traveling to Grapevine all the way from the North Pole before he makes his big trip around the world! All are welcome to visit Santa at The REC.  Bring your Christmas list and camera for photos.

Classic Christmas Cartoons and Crafts – Through Friday, December 22  
The kids will enjoy Christmas-themed cartoons and crafts all month long. Classics like A Charlie Brown Christmas, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, and many more will be shown throughout the month. The Christmas crafts include ornaments, snowman crafts, reindeer crafts, picture frame magnets, and more. The children’s ticket includes a craft activity, a small popcorn, and a beverage (juice box or bottled water). The adult’s ticket includes a beverage (juice box or bottled water). ‘Tis the season to be in the Christmas Capital of Texas®!  Experience the Peace Plaza Ice Rink, presented by Champion Energy Services, and glide across the ice on this Texas sized 4,500-square-foot outdoor ice-skating rink on Historic Main Street. Holiday Community Pet Pantry, Free Rabies and Low Cost Pet Vaccines – Saturday, December 30
This holiday season, Grapevine Animal Services is working to help keep pets with the families that love them. Part of that is assisting with the nutritional needs of your pet. We will have an assortment of donated dog food, cat food and pet care supplies. Additionally, we are offering your furry friends free rabies vaccines and other low cost vaccines.
