Constitutional Amendment Election - Early Voting Now Underway
On November 7, the State of Texas will hold a Constitutional Amendment Election.  
Early Voting has been made available through November 3. During Early Voting, voters may vote at any polling location in Tarrant County. The Grapevine Public Library, 1201 Municipal Way, is one of the polling locations.  
On November 7, voters may vote at any Vote Center in the County between 7 am and 7 pm. There will be several locations in Grapevine:  
Cross Timbers Middle School, 2301 Pool Road 
Dove Elementary School, 1932 Dove Road 
First Presbyterian Church Grapevine, 1002 Park Boulevard 
Grapevine Elementary School, 1801 Hall-Johnson Road 
Grapevine Public Library, 1201 Municipal Way 
Heritage Elementary School, 4500 Heritage Avenue 
St. Francis Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Lane 
Timberline Elementary School, 3220 Timberline Drive

Grapevine Recycles Day – This Saturday, October 28 - FREE  
Our Environmental team will host their annual recycling/reuse and paper shredding event inviting Grapevine residents (only) to have documents shredded and to properly recycle other materials at no charge. To view a listing of acceptable items, and additional details, please visit GrapevineTexas.gov or call the Environmental Services Division at 817.410.3330. This event is open to Grapevine residents only (proof of residency is required).

Positive Mosquito Sample
A positive mosquito sample carrying the West Nile Virus was detected in the 1500 block of Dooley Street. Mosquito control ground spraying will be conducted within a one-mile radius of this area on Wednesday, October 25 (pending weather) beginning at 9pm. View a map of the spray area at bit.ly/3pBpw4I.

UPCOMING EVENTS 

Spooky Season Events  
Enjoy multiple events for grown-ups this spooky season aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.  Throw on your costume and hop aboard the Witches Brew Train, or grab your wands and take part in the HallowWizard Train.  The Trick ‘R Treat Train offers a family-friendly excursion on October 29 and includes a bag of treats and live entertainment. After the Trick ‘R Treat Train excursions, head to Peace Plaza for Trunk or Treat hosted by Harvest Hall.  The party features dozens of decorated trunks as well as a live DJ and a dance floor!

Grapevine Main Live! – Friday, October 27 - FREE  
This is the last week for Grapevine Main Live! This event will take place on the Plaza directly outside of Harvest Hall where guests may enjoy food from any of six chef-inspired global kitchens, specialty crafted cocktails, and performances by some of the best local artists and bands in the Metroplex. The Grapevine Police Department is on a mission to celebrate Halloween with our community at the annual Trunk or Treat event at Mustang-Panther Stadium. This year’s theme is “Out of This World” with a special guest appearance by Wally Funk. The event is free and appropriate for the entire family. We hope to see you Saturday for an out of this world experience.

Trunk or Treat Car Show – Sunday, October 29 - FREE

As you trick or treat, jam out to the tunes spun by our talented DJ who will keep the energy high for you to bust out your best monster mash or show off your thriller moves. Water Safety Instructor Training – Saturday, November 4 & Sunday, November 5
Earn your certification to teach American Red Cross swimming and water safety, and gain the skills needed to teach courses and make presentations to swimmers of every age and ability. Through the Water Safety Instructor Training program, you can help recreational swimmers meet their goals, refine their skills and stay safe in, on, and around water.
