37th Annual GrapeFest® Starts Tomorrow - September 14 – 17
37th Annual GrapeFest® – A Texas Wine Experience, presented by Bank of the West tickets are now available. You’re invited to sip your way through delicious wines from Texas, California’s Napa Valley, and South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Enjoy a variety of rosé at the all-new Rosé Rendezvous at the Gazebo sponsored by Messina Hof Winery, Landon Winery and Llano Estacado Winery. From there, head to the Champagne Cork Shoot-Off sponsored by Texas Gun Experience or the classic Grape Stomp sponsored by Thryv and get ready for fun, competitive events you won’t forget! Festival attendees will experience non-stop live music on four stages during the four-day family friendly festival. Musical headliners include David Lee Murphy and Carnie & Wendy Wilson of Wilson Phillips. Visitors will also enjoy a carnival midway and a shopper’s paradise at local Main Street boutiques, galleries, and select vendors. Fee: Admission for everyone is free all day on Thursday, September 14. Friday - Sunday, admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors (62+) and children (6-12). Children ages five and under enter for free. Weekend passes are $20 per person. The People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic is $30 per person. Liberty Park Plaza International Wine Experience – Napa Valley, California or Barossa Valley, Australia is $22 per person.
Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant – September 1 – October 3
The Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant provides funding for litter prevention, waste reduction, and/or beautification projects. Your school, business, or organization may receive up to $5,000 to assist with your project. Examples of previous projects include the purchase of water bottle filling stations, trash carts, and landscape improvements. Applications will be accepted through October 3 for the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant program, sponsored by Sam Pack’s Five Star Subaru-Grapevine. Keep Grapevine Beautiful - Fall Sweep - Saturday, September 23
Make an impact in your community by joining Fall Sweep, our biggest volunteer cleanup event of the year – and help keep Grapevine beautiful! Volunteers work together to help keep our parks, shoreline, and waterways litter free. All supplies for this event will be provided. Immediately following the cleanup, participants will meet for lunch and will be eligible for prize drawings. Cleanup locations will be announced on Monday, September 18. Our instructor will teach each student individually to their skill level. Different subjects and mediums, including pastels, water color, acrylics, and oils will be taught. In addition, students will learn how to mix colors, color theory, and color techniques.

Join the Grapevine Parks and Rec crew for Sunset Live! at the Botanical Gardens, 411 Ball Street on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7. Enjoy a live music journey down memory lane with classics featuring your favorite genres each night. Bring the family or a date, and your picnic blanket or chairs for an evening under the stars. Children will enjoy the Kidz Zone filled with fun, complimentary activities for their age groups.
Food, beer, and wine will also be available for purchase for those who do not bring their own picnic. VIP tickets are available at GoGrapevine.com/event/sunsetlive/. The VIP experience offers the Bessie Mitchell House as your private event space, with light fare (appetizers), two beverage tickets, early access to the gardens, and reserved seating. VIP tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Free, general admission tickets will be available at the event. Doors open at 5:30 pm daily for those with VIP tickets and 6:30 pm for general admission attendees. Live music will begin at 7 pm.

Intro to Fly Fishing – October 9 – October 30
This introductory course will take the most novice fishing enthusiast and turn them into a seasoned fly fisherman. Introduction to Fly Fishing will take you through the basics of equipment, forward casting, and back casting with ample hands-on experience with a veteran fly-fishing instructor.
