9/11 22nd Anniversary Day of Remembrance Ceremony
Our annual 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony will take place on Monday, September 11 beginning at 7:40 am at 1000 Texan Trail, Grapevine.
This remembrance ceremony will be live-streamed on the City of Grapevine’s Facebook platform beginning at 7:30 am. Parking may be limited. For those unable to attend, we invite you to join us virtually as we reflect and remember those who perished on this date 22 years ago.

Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant – September 1 – October 3
The Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant provides funding for litter prevention, waste reduction, and/or beautification projects. Your school, business, or organization may receive up to $5,000 to assist with your project. Examples of previous projects include the purchase of water bottle filling stations, trash carts, and landscape improvements. Applications will be accepted through October 3 for the Keep Grapevine Beautiful Gives Grant program, sponsored by Sam Pack’s Five Star Subaru-Grapevine. Annual Maintenance at The REC – Modified Hours through September 10
The REC, 1175 Municipal Way, will be CLOSED beginning Tuesday, September 5 through Sunday, September 10 for annual maintenance. During this maintenance week, please tag @GoGrapevine in a post while at a Grapevine park or working out outdoors for a chance to win a $100 REC store credit.

20th Annual Italian Carfest – This Saturday, September 9 - FREE
The Italian Car Club of North Texas and the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, will present ItalianCarFest 2023, a prelude to the 37th Annual GrapeFest®. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, this is the largest show of premier Italian automobiles in the southwest. There will be more than 80 modern and classic vehicles, from Fiats and Alfa Romeos to Lamborghinis, and Ferraris, as well as Maseratis, Siatas, and Lancias. Admission is free. Refreshments, including beer, wine, soft drinks, and Italian food (provided by Chez Fabien and Main Street Bistro) will be available for purchase. Keep Grapevine Beautiful - Fall Sweep - Saturday, September 23
Make an impact in your community by joining Fall Sweep, our biggest volunteer cleanup event of the year – and help keep Grapevine beautiful! Volunteers work together to help keep our parks, shoreline, and waterways litter free. All supplies for this event will be provided. Immediately following the cleanup, participants will meet for lunch and will be eligible for prize drawings. Cleanup locations will be announced on Monday, September 18. Join the Grapevine Parks and Rec crew for Sunset Live! at the Botanical Gardens, 411 Ball Street on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7. Enjoy a live music journey down memory lane with classics featuring your favorite genres each night. Bring the family or a date, and your picnic blanket or chairs for an evening under the stars. Children will enjoy the Kidz Zone filled with fun, complimentary activities for their age groups.
Food, beer, and wine will also be available for purchase for those who do not bring their own picnic. VIP tickets are available at GoGrapevine.com/event/sunsetlive/. The VIP experience offers the Bessie Mitchell House as your private event space, with light fare (appetizers), two beverage tickets, early access to the gardens, and reserved seating. VIP tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Free, general admission tickets will be available at the event. Doors open at 5:30 pm daily for those with VIP tickets and 6:30 pm for general admission attendees. Live music will begin at 7 pm.

Intro to Fly Fishing – October 9 – October 30
This introductory course will take the most novice fishing enthusiast and turn them into a seasoned fly fisherman. Introduction to Fly Fishing will take you through the basics of equipment, forward casting, and back casting with ample hands-on experience with a veteran fly-fishing instructor.
