School Resource Police Officers Approved for all GCISD Campuses
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD in partnership with the City of Grapevine and the City of Colleyville, and their police departments will employ a full-time School Resource Officer (SRO) at all GCISD campuses – effective immediately.  View full details at bit.ly/3ONCnKN.

Positive Mosquito Sample – Mosquito Control Ground Spraying
A positive mosquito sample carrying the West Nile Virus was detected in the 1800 block of Hall-Johnson Road. Annual Parks and Recreation Survey - Open Through October 31

Clear The Shelters – Saturday, August 26

Carol of Lights Vendor Applications Being Accepted - Event Date: Monday, November 20
Applications are now being accepted from food and merchant vendors for the 35th Annual Carol of Lights event!  Whether you offer delicious treats or unique merchandise, this is your opportunity to shine under the dazzling lights while captivating holiday enthusiasts. Canine Microchipping Event – Saturday, August 12
On Saturday, August 12 from 9 am to 12 pm, dog owners are invited to have their dog microchipped for only $10 by Grapevine Animal Services at the Grapevine Bark Park at Bear Creek Park, Texas 360 Service Road.  An estimated 10 million pets go missing every year with 6.5 million never being reunited with their owner.  Let us help you help your pet get back home. All About Eclipses for Kids, Teens, and Adults - Saturday, August 12
Come and learn how to safely view the October 2023 and April 2024 Solar Eclipses! Solar System Ambassadors Sarah Twidal and Kelley Miller will be here to educate and empower you to view these awesome astronomical marvels. The Fort Worth Astronomical Society will bring solar telescopes for additional viewing.
