Positive Mosquito Samples 
Three positive mosquito samples carrying the West Nile Virus were confirmed in the following areas: the 2400 block of Mustang Drive, the 3100 block of Timberline Drive, and the 1800 block of Hall-Johnson Road.  Mosquito control ground spraying will be conducted within a one-mile radius of all three of these areas on Thursday, July 20 beginning at 9 pm. The spray area maps may be viewed at GrapevineTexas.gov.  

Dove Waterpark Closing Early – Friday, July 21 
Dove Waterpark, 1509 Hood Lane, will close at 6 pm this Friday, July 21, for a private event. Regular operating hours will resume on Saturday, July 22.  

GRACE School Supply Drive – July 1 - 31
Drop off new school supplies at The REC during the month of July and receive a one-day, guest pass. All donations benefit the GRACE School Supply Drive. Limit one guest pass per donation.

Join the Grapevine Animal Services team for their PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) reading program. Children ages 12 years and under will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time about the connection between animals and people. Due to limited space, registration is required at GrapevineTicketLine.com. To allow for more children to attend, we kindly ask that only one chaperone per family attend. Following story time, there will be a craft making opportunity and a snack.

Pop & Play at City Parks – Last day is this Friday, July 21
Join Grapevine Parks and Recreation as they pop-up at different City parks to celebrate Parks and Recreation month! Enjoy the opportunity to discover the unique amenities at some of the City’s best parks, including state-of-the-art playgrounds, cool summer spray grounds, sports complexes, and picnic pavilions. At each park pop-up, food, take-home crafts, lawn games, and giveaways will be offered to the first 50 people in attendance. Happy To Help Saturday – Saturday, July 22 
Enjoy the great outdoors and make new friends while taking part in Happy to Help Saturday. At this fun, outdoor event, volunteers come together to improve the environment and our community. Projects take place in Grapevine parks and may include painting, removal of invasive plants, and litter pickup – among other tasks. There are a few spots open for experienced kayakers to conduct shoreline cleanup. Specific location and instruction details will be sent once you have registered. Arts-based social entrepreneurship, and more will engage participants in creative expression and community building through musical experiences.
