Register to Vote  
The last day to register to vote in the May 6 Election is April 6. Register to vote at VoteTexas.Gov. Applications to register to vote are also available in the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall, 200 South Main Street, and at the Grapevine Public Library, 1201 Municipal Way. To check your voter registration status, please visit the Tarrant County Elections website at bit.ly/3KbQFm4.

Join the farmhands at Nash Farm as they explore Easter traditions.

PAWS By Reading – Friday, April 7 - FREE 
Join the Grapevine Animal Services team for their PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) by Reading program. Children under 10 years of age will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time. Shelter staff will welcome read two stories about the connection between animals and people. Following story time, there will be a craft making opportunity and a snack. 

Everyone in attendance is invited to tour the new animal shelter and learn about responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals. Although this event is FREE, registration is required due to limited space - and please, only one adult chaperone per family. Please visit our Wish List if you would like to bring a donated item for our animals.

Plant and Seed Exchange - Saturday, April 8  
Join us to swap seeds and plants and chat about gardening with other enthusiastic gardeners. Check out our new seed library where you can borrow up to five packets of seeds and grow your own plants. Save the seeds and bring them back to the library. Please contact cproctor@grapevinetexas.gov for additional information. Registration is not  required.

Youth Sports Camps – Registration Open 
The REC is offering a variety of sports camps and clinics this summer, designed to engage aspiring athletes, ages seven to 16. While encouraging sportsmanship and self-discipline, your athlete will be introduced to basic foundations for training through a fun, structured, skill building program. Sports camps include basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and volleyball. Register at GoGrapevine.com for a great opportunity for your children to improve their skills.  

The Dinos are still here! – Prehistoric Park Ends April 16 
The dinosaurs have returned to Grapevine and we invite you to LEARN about Grapevine’s prehistoric past while roaming through an outdoor exhibition of animatronic dinosaurs. DIG into the action and enjoy hands-on activities for the whole family. EXPLORE the biggest show yet, day or night! Activities include boneyard games, numerous exhibit displays, tracks trail, a dig site to discover bones of the past, and animatronic dinosaurs. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Grapevine Garden Club Plant Sale - Saturday, April 15 
The Grapevine Garden Club’s annual Spring Plant Sale provides beautiful native and pollinator-attracting plants for purchase. Proceeds support their scholarship and civic programs. For additional information, please visit GoGrapevine.com.

Grapevine Animal Services Open House - Saturday, April 15 
Join the Animal Services team for a family friendly event at the Grapevine Animal Services. They will offer microchipping for dogs ($10), and free for cats. Your pups will love the doggie ice cream while you enjoy tacos from the Crown taco truck. Tour the shelter and enjoy games, face painting, and arts and crafts. The mobile library will be on site and the Grapevine Fire and Police departments will conduct demonstrations.

Mystery in the Park - Saturday, April 22 – Tickets Now Available 
Join Grapevine Parks and Recreation and Grapevine Escape at the Botanical Gardens to figure out the new Mystery in the Park! During this unique, award-winning event, you will get the opportunity to play detective and roam through the gardens to find out who the real culprit is. Waste Reduction at Home – Wednesday, April 26 - FREE
This ECO Talk will cover reducing waste in your home and will be led by Isabelle Bishop, a doctoral student at the University of North Texas. Bishop’s instruction will start in the kitchen and she will work her way through the home. Her practical tips will make a big impact in your own efforts. This event is FREE but registration is required at jotform.com.
