PAWS By Reading – Friday, April 7 - FREE
Join the Grapevine Animal Services team for their PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare and Safety) by Reading program. Children under 10 years of age will have the opportunity to attend this unique story time. Shelter staff will welcome read two stories about the connection between animals and people. Following story time, there will be a craft making opportunity and a snack.
Everyone in attendance is invited to tour the new animal shelter and learn about responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals. Although this event is FREE, registration is required due to limited space - and please, only one adult chaperone per family. The REC is offering a variety of sports camps and clinics this summer, designed to engage aspiring athletes, ages seven to 16. While encouraging sportsmanship and self-discipline, your athlete will be introduced to basic foundations for training through a fun, structured, skill building program. The dinosaurs have returned to Grapevine and we invite you to LEARN about Grapevine’s prehistoric past while roaming through an outdoor exhibition of animatronic dinosaurs. The mobile library will be on site and the Grapevine Fire and Police departments will conduct demonstrations.
