VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Mother-Daughter Tea Party – This Saturday, May 7
The Parks and Recreation team is hosting their annual Mother-Daughter Tea Party on Saturday, May 7. Volunteers, ages 14 and older are needed for this fun and exciting Unicorn-themed event. Volunteers will have fun assisting with activities, the photo-booth, dancing, etc. The event will be held indoors. Sound Bath Meditation for Teens and Adults - Monday, May 9
Denae Richards will guide us through a Sound Meditation using gongs, singing bowls, crystal bowls, and other instruments. This workshop will begin with guided relaxation and breathwork followed by an entrancing and ethereal sound bath. You will be lying down in a comfortable position as you're bathed by the healing sounds of the instruments. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring items with you to create a comfortable meditation nest – yoga mats, pillows, knee bolsters, blankets, etc.
