City Facility Closures & Trash/Recyclables Collection
The Library and The REC will close today, Wednesday, February 23 at 5 pm due to hazardous roadway conditions. All evening programs and events have also been canceled. All City facilities will be closed on Thursday, February 24 due to icy conditions. Trash and recyclables will be pushed one day. Trash/recyclables normally collected on Thursdays, will be picked up on Friday, and Friday's collections will take place on Saturday. All essential services will operate normally.

Classic Cartoons & Crafts – Tuesday, March 1
Bring the little ones to watch classic cartoons while making a fun craft at the Lancaster Theatre. Trinity River Excursion - Saturday, February 26
The Stockyards Trinity River Excursion is a 45-minute train excursion departing from the Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth. Help solve a “whodunit” onboard this special excursion featuring the “Great Train Heist”, an interactive performance with Cotton Belt Special Agents in hot pursuit of a couple of notorious train robbers. The excursion crosses both channels of the Trinity River, travels through Trinity Park, and passes Montgomery Plaza before returning to the Stockyards.
