Early Closures & Delayed Openings
Due to incoming winter weather, the Grapevine Public Library will close at 6 pm this evening, and The REC will close at 7 pm. All city facilities will have a delayed opening of 10 am on Thursday, February 3, pending weather conditions. Please continue to monitor our social media platforms for current updates.
Trash & Recycle Services Delayed
Trash and recycle services normally provided on Thursday will be pushed to Friday collection. Friday collection has now shifted to Saturday collection. Please stay tuned to City of Grapevine social media platforms for potential schedule changes according to weather impacts.
Street Sanding Crews
TxDOT's street crews have already applied brine pretreatment to our roadways and bridges. In the event our streets require additional sanding, Grapevine street crews have three sand teams that will begin their work between 8 and 9pm tonight. This shift will continue to work until the next shift begins on Thursday morning at 7am. If traveling, please keep a safe distance from sanding trucks and please slow down and move over while our emergency management crews are at work.
Protect People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants
Wintery weather is expected this evening through tomorrow. Very cold temperatures and a mixture of sleet, snow, and ice are expected. Please take all reasonable precautions to protect people, pets, pipes, and plants from these very cold temperatures. Only use generators and grills outdoors and away from windows. Never heat your home with a gas stovetop or oven. Only use space heaters in well-ventilated areas away from combustible materials. Regular updates will be posted on Facebook.com/ReadyGrapevine.

Spring Adult Softball – Registration Open Through Monday, February 7
Registration for Grapevine's Spring Adult Softball league is now open. This season, Men's Church, Men's E, Men's D, and COED “For Fun” divisions are being offered. The REC’s Cardio Crunch Challenge – Now Through February 28
Members, join us this month to crush your fitness goals and win prizes along the way in our annual Cardio Crunch Challenge. This challenge is all about racking up as many cardio minutes as you can from Tuesday, February 1 though Monday, February 28.
