Would you like to learn cross stitch, embroidery, crochet? Do you crochet or knit? Would you like to meet others with the same interests? Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you're invited to join Molly Wright in the Area History Room every Saturday morning (Except March 4th, due to the Library's Centennial Celebration) from 10:30 am to noon. We will be expanding our textile arts programs over the next year, so stay tuned!
Harpist and Grapevine Library Board Member Megan Li will perform the music of Carlos Salzedo, composed around the time that the library was founded one hundred years ago: Selections from the Suite of Eight Dances 1. Gavotte 2. Seguidilla 3. Tango 4. Rumba Quietude Song in the Night
On the first and third Saturday of each month, the Library is visited by therapy dogs. They love to listen to children practice reading! No registration needed.
This is a literacy-focused show that inspires kids to read for FUN! In a 35-minute, fun-filled educational program, Dal Sanders and his friend, "Stoogie," the sock-puppet bookworm, use a creative mix of music, magic and games to share their excitement for reading.
Come and Celebrate the Grapevine Library's 100 year anniversary. We'll have open gaming all day long so drop by and enjoy.
