On April 8th, 2017 the Grapevine Community Outreach Center hosted its fourth annual Grapevine Job Fair. The fair will took place at Grapevine High School in the Student Activity Center (SAC) from 12 PM to 4 PM. The job fair is the product of a successful partnership between the Grapevine Community Outreach Center and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce in which over 600 people have received job overs during past fairs. Over 45 companies participated in the 2017 fair, and over 1300 jobs were available to job-seekers. Jobs available included part-time, full-time and summer jobs. High School students were especially encouraged to attend the fair to search for entry-level and summer positions. In addition, the fair included workshops on how to land your first job and even featured a mock interview station for job-seekers to sharpen their interview skills. The event relied heavily on volunteers from the Grapevine community.
